The MOBILITY SERIES is 8 classes breaking up the body in sections and zeroing in on moving joints in their FULL RANGE OF MOTION and gently STRETCHING local muscles.

All movements are synchronized with deep diaphragmatic breath.

These classes are not a 'work out' per se, but excellent for CIRCULATION and can be used as ACTIVE RECOVERY or REST and to reduce INFLAMMATION and lower CORTISOL baselines.

These classes are a prefect companion to weight lifting as you can only strengthen a muscle to the degree that you have a full range of motion in your muscles and joints. Improving your MOBILITY can help you work out longer, reduce joint pain and can reduce risk of injury .. + gain a lot of energy!

WHAT’S IN EACH CLASS?

UNLOCK YOUR HIPS & SPINE

They say you are as young as your spine. Experience how the hips are the gateway to spinal movement and the generation of our life force energy.

SI & LOWER BACK REHAB

Release connective tissue and muscles in the lower back area and the glute muscles around the sacroiliac joint. Explore isometrics for stabilization of the SI joint.

UPPER BACK & SHOULDERS/SCAPULA/NECK

Unlock tension in the upper back and neck, release tightness in the scapula, and find freedom in the full range of motion of the shoulder joint.

UNLOCK YOUR LEGS

Focusing on releasing the muscles of the legs from the feet to the hips and the elastic connective tissue of the IT band (Iliotibial tract). Exploring range of motion in the hips, knees and ankles as well as nerve flossing for some of the major nerve branches that run through the legs.

UNLOCK YOUR HIPS & GROIN

Unlocking and exploring the full range of motion of the hip joint and releasing the glute muscles, as well as gentle strengthening of the labrum and iliopsoas.

RESTORE YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM

Focusing on the parasympathetic branch (rest & digest) of the nervous system, gentle movement held for longer periods of time, and finishing with a guided YOGA NIDRA ‘rotation of consciousness’ practice throughout the body. Excellent class when rest is needed.

UNLOCK YOUR HANDS, FEETS, ANKLES & WRISTS

Often overlooked parts of our body that can create great havoc if they stiffen up. Unlock foot, ankle, hands and wrist mobility to decease risk of pain and injury as we age and to support better athletic technique. Deep stretching and fun mobility exercises.

UNLOCK YOUR FULL BODY MOBILITY

Relieving tight hips, shoulders and thoracic spine. Moving from the bottom of the feet to the crown of the head. Excellent weekly practice to reduce inflammation, restore hormonal balance and total health.
