WHY KATHERINE?

Katherine first discovered yoga at the age of 8 when she pulled a book on yoga off the shelf and followed the instructions inside. What she discovered was how to access and shift into her parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest branch of the autonomic nervous system). As a child she practiced with her grandmother and attended class with her long before yoga was a trend. Over the years she has trained within the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and Iyengar yoga lineages of Krishnamacharya. She is also trained and certified in Yoga Nidra, a yogic form of non-sleep, deep rest.

Katherine has travelled all over the world from India and Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, Canada, the US and Europe studying with yoga and meditation masters. She has a love for teaching and working with each unique person, guiding them to achieve health, strength, mobility, vitality and inner peace.

What equipment do I need?

Nothing. Props will be provided initially as needed. Eventually you will want your own mat as you establish your personal connection to your yoga practice.

How long are the private sessions?

60 mins is usually the preferred time for most people, however this can be adjusted to 45 mins or 75 mins.

How do I inquire about prices and book a session?

Do you do sessions online?

Yes. You can book a yoga session on Zoom. It works very well and can be helpful to those working with a budget or long distance.
